Mario Marine
Born
in the city of Santa Fè, Argentina, Mario was sent to Buenos
Aires to study in the Escuela Nacional de Danzas. Later he acquired
his Tango skills from Maestro Virulazo and has since performed all
over the world.
His international performances include: Theater San Martin, Buenos Aires, with Astor Piazolla; The Olympia Theater in Paris, with Serge Lama; Lido de Paris, with the group Los Indianos; Casino of Monte Carlo, with Charles Aznavour and Don Lurio; Madrid, Spain for Princess Sophia and Juan Carlos; and soloist in the Ballet of Santiago Ayala in the Festival of Cosquin.
Elizabeth Roccella
Elizabeth was born in the heart of the tango - Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Her dancing studies began at the University of California Riverside
where she has focused her training in ballroom dancing, Latin dances
and ballet.
She went on to devote her professional training to Argentine tango and folklore where she was intensively trained with renowned professional dancers. A versatile dancer, Elizabeth’s background includes salsa, swing, ballroom, ballet, and much more.
Elizabeth joined the Otero Dance Company in 2000. She has also performed for Dyango, Ruben Juarez, Los Tucu Tucu, Jack Cione’s Mardi Gras Follies, and was proudly selected to perform for the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra.
Eduardo Rodriguez
Eduardo began dancing at 8 years old and began his professional career
at 14. He captivates audiences with his gaucho and tango performances.
Eduardo has performed with several renowned shows in Argentina, including La Ventana, El Bulin, El Balcon de la Plaza, Esquina Homero Manzi, La Casa de Anibal Troilo, Pulperia Posta Gaucha and La Cumparcita.
His talent was recognized on major Latino TV channels, including Solo Tango, Channels 7, 9, 11 and 13 of Argentina, Channel 8 of Paraguay and the Rede o Globo of Brazil. Luis tours throughout South America, Europe, Canada and the United States and is internationally recognized as one of the most talented dancers in tango and gaucho.
Susan Gregory
Susan is a classically trained dancer. She began dancing tango in
the Milonga of Los Angeles and performed Argentine folk dance with
the Ballet Argentino of Maria del Carmen Cena.
She was trained professionally by Mario MarinÈ and has been performing with him for the last four years. Susan has also performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl and at the Folk Festival of Villa Maria in Argentina.
Guillermo Gomez
Guillermo was born in Santiago del Estero, Argentina. His dancing was guided by the famous dancer Carlos Saavedra.
In 1992, Guillermo became part of the dance company “Raza”, performing in Mexico and Argentina with the international singer Jairo.
In 2001, he was contracted by “Forever Tango” director Luis Bravo for the new show “Forever Malambos”, traveling with the company in several cities across Japan and the United States.
His most resent credits include: Café Tortoni, Posta Gaucha, Pantaleon del Abasto and the hit show Costumbres de mi Tierra in Argentina. He continues to perform gaucho and tango with his wife Valentina Villaroel, who was the formal principal dancer in “Forever Tango”.
