Gloria Otero

(Executive Producer, Director)

Born to be a dancer, Gloria has trained with master teachers since the age of eight in many areas of dance: tango, folklore, ballet, flamenco, tap, jazz, salsa and ballroom.

At the age of fifteen, Gloria received a Certified Title as a Dance Instructor from the Conservatorio Alvistur in Buenos Aires. She then formed her own dance troupe, which won numerous awards for Best Young Dance Troupe.

Gloria has worked as a professional dancer with the stars in Argentine Tango and folklore Argentino, sharing the stage with internationally renowned artists. After becoming well known in Argentina, she toured internationally, receiving accolades throughout Asia, Europe, and the United States. 

Gloria then founded the Otero Dance Company, which presents a unique combination of tango, salsa and gauchos performances throughout the United States, Italy, France and Germany. 

Her brilliant performances and choreographies garnered her the Bronze Star Halo Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Entertainment Industry by the Southern California Motion Picture Council. She produced and starred in the short film “Café Tango”. Gloria is also the creator, director, and executive producer of "Rhythm and Passion".

 

Claudio Otero

(Assistant Director)

Born in Argentina, Claudio began dancing at the age of four. His talent was quickly recognized, and he soon joined the National Tour in Argentina, sharing the stage with renowned stars of tango. 

Claudio's driving performances were sought after for commercials and television shows throughout Argentina. He captivated audiences with his presentations at theaters such as the Teatro Alvear and Astral, and with dinner shows at Michelangelo and La Ventana.

In the United States, his tango and gaucho performances continue to dazzle and amaze. His dancing has been featured in television shows as well as in commercials.

Claudio received the Bronze Star Halo Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Entertainment industry by the Southern California Motion Picture Council. 

Claudio is one of the few dancers who have perfected both the tango and the gaucho dances. His energetic gaucho performances reflect the soul of the Argentine countryside while his tango style ignites the stage with the passion and intensity of Buenos Aires.
